Location: West LA
Schedule: hybrid onsite | Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm (will work 2 days onsite and 3 days remote)
Duration: long-term temp (through July of 2026)
Salary: $40/hr - $50/hr

Job Description:
The Human Resources Business Partner (Contractor) provides strategic human resources consultation and support to designated business units. This position mentors and assists other human resources business partners (generalists), while establishing procedures for analyzing trends and developing workforce plans to proactively address key issues and positively influence business results. Additional duties include designing, coordinating, and executing initiatives, communications, and events in partnership with supervisors, human resources business partners, and managers.

The ideal candidate serves as an advisor and change agent on people and organizational matters, delivering HR solutions to support the business. You have demonstrated capabilities of balancing strategic initiatives with operational tasks while working with a distributed workforce in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Executive Support & Representation
* Design and execute initiatives that align with organizational objectives, corporate culture, and operational practices.
* Serve as a strategic partner with Human Resources and other Centers of Excellence (COEs) to evaluate, create, and deliver comprehensive HR solutions.
* Collaborate with management to proactively assess organizational challenges and provide expert consultative support in areas including:
o Assist in matters of complex employee relations and conflict resolution.
o Talent development.
o Talent acquisition and workforce planning.
o Onboarding of new leaders and enhancement of employee engagement.
o Delivery of training programs and management development.
* Cultivate effective relationships with leadership teams
* Special projects as assigned

What You Need
Position Requirements
* Bilingual in Spanish is a requirement as this person will be working with an employee base of primarily Spanish speaking individuals.
* Minimum of eight years' experience within a relevant field, including at least three years in a HRBP capacity.
* In-depth understanding of departmental procedures; prior experience in the Service or Hospitality industry is advantageous.
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience; proficiency in English and Spanish required.
* HR certification is preferred, though not mandatory.
* Thorough expertise in all aspects of Talent Management.
* Proven background in Employee Relations, with robust knowledge of both California and Federal employment law.
* Extensive experience encompasses the entire Talent Acquisition lifecycle: sourcing, recruitment, selection, assessment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
* Superior interpersonal skills, with an ability to consult, influence, and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders.
* Skilled in leading and facilitating focus groups and learning initiatives.
* Demonstrated project management experience in implementing small- to mid-scale programs.
* Capacity to maintain strategic perspective while executing hands-on responsibilities.
* Genuine commitment to serving as a collaborative member of the HR team.
